Clash[]
Alvin first appears without lines as one of the first new residents of the housing complex safe town, run by Alexis Norton and Victoria Franklin. Alvin is among one of the survivors who assists Alexis in a mission outside the walls to track down Michael Lewis, a pathologist she went to college with. Their search is succesful.
Alvin is present later that night when Victoria is killed.
The Olive Branch[]
A few days later, in the early hours of the morning, Alvin attends a burial service for Victoria, where Michael speaks.
Later that night, Alvin is present as Alexis addresses the community and reveals that she naming the complex after Victoria.
Season Two[]
Old Friends, New Enemies[]
Days on, Alexis's leadership is put under threat by Derrick, Jasmin, Jason and Tariq, all of whom raise their weapons at her. Derrick, who's in charge of the coup, demands that Alexis leave the complex immediately. She refuses, in spite of his threats. Luke is then beaten by Jason and Tariq when he tries to intervene. Eventually, the situation is resolved and control is given back to Alexis, when Jenson, with Matt and an Alvin by his side, shoots and kills Derrick.

Alvin appears in this episode on guard at the main gate when Lydia-Jean joins the complex. He is also there later when Blaine and his people turn up, seeking refuge.
Trouble Brewing[]
Alvin is present when two newcomers, Zahra and Catelyn, enter the complex. He also arrests Charlotte and Bobby under Alexis's orders when they break into Michael's lab. Alvin also appears when Drew Franklin enters the complex, but is apprehended straight away as Alexis knows he is from Midway, and has been sent to be a spy.
Last Orders[]
A few days on, a meeting is planned between Victoria and Midway. Alvin stands on a watch-post during the discussion. Henry and the others from Midway arrive at the gates at Victoria. Alvin reminds them that they are letting them in on good faith that the meeting is to be peaceful. Henry assures him it will be.
When Lorna infiltrates the complex to kill Alexis and brings dozens upon dozens of undead with her, chaos breaks out. Alvin, who is still up on the watch-post, spots Donna and Sean arriving and becomes convinced they're recruits from Midway to help take over. He hurries down from his ladder and confronts Donna. She is held up at gunpoint by a furious Alvin who calls her a dead woman. Before he can shoot, his stomach is blown open and he falls to the floor. Sean, standing behind him with his shotgun raised, yells "Ain’t got time for this shit!" He and Donna then leave Alvin's body behind and enter the complex.
