Nothing is known about what happened to Niko after the apocalypse other than at some point he joined or already was a part of Noah Ashby's community.
Season Two[]
Stranger at the Door[]
Niko guards Lorna, who is still in a coma four months after Diego and Claire rescued her. Hailey approaches and says she can't sleep. She invites him to her bedroom, but he says he's on watch. She points out he's guarding a woman in a coma and even if she woke up, she wouldn't be fit to lift her own head let alone escape through a locked door. Niko says he can spare ten minutes. Lorna regains consciousness soon after.
No Democracy[]
Diego approaches Niko, who is on guard outside the infirmary where Lorna is being held. He asks how she is doing and then notices she appears to be talking to herself. He says loneliness does things to people. Niko remarks that he thinks she's just crazy. Later, Hailey approaches Niko and invites him to her room but he says he's guarding Lorna. She spots something through the window and says he's not doing a very good job. He spins around finds Lorna lying on the floor, seemingly unconscious. He doesn't respond in case she's trying to fool him into rushing in, but when blood drips from her mouth, he goes in. He soon notices a self-inflicted bite mark on her arm. Lorna then trips Niko up and knees him in the face, knocking him out. She soon escapes.
One Fell Swoop[]
In order to provide protection for an upcoming meeting with Midway, Noah recruits Jock to keep an eye on proceedings. Diego and Niko go and greet him with excitement, but he is aloof as he is busy checking over the location of the meet. The meeting is ambushed from afar by Blaine Monteghue, and he opens fire, killing Niko and wounding several others. Hailey is so devastated by Niko's death that she hangs herself.
